Cosplay, Wild West and Gangsters

Ciaron, an actor, armourer and costumier for theatre and cinema, is a regular visitor to the studio. Here’s a compilation from 3 shoots during 2023 including Ganster, Steam Punk, Jason from Friday 13th, Wizard and Wild West themes – all costumes supplied by Cairon, plus props available in our studio.

The Bard – Musketeer and Napoleonic Shoot

‘The Bard’, Ciaran Davis, is an actor, costumier, armourer and stuntman. Every so often he visits the studio with an authentic historical costume. Our latest shoot was no exception. Ciaran supplied a fully authentic French late 18th century Musketeers costume complete with antique Spanish sword and also a Napoleonic soldier’s costume. I set up a couple of small stage sets comprising of various props to compliment the period of the outfits. Ciaran skilfully employed his acting skills to characterise each scenario.

Surreal apocalyptic shoot at Antwerp Mansion with actor and model Darren

Darren is a very dedicated and versatile model and actor who I have worked with on a number of occasions. He owns an extensive personal wardrobe as well as a huge variety of props that he can supply to give extra authenticity and excitement to any shoot. We booked a morning at Antwerp mansions, a dedicated run-down and urban photography space in Rusholme, Manchester. Using the grungy and dilapidated interior, we worked on several scenarios to produce some surreal, steampunk, alternative and sci-fi shots.

New retro costume shoots with Tyler, The Bard and Darren

3 actors/male models visited the studio in the last couple of months and we produced some exciting character and costume shoots – ‘The Bard’ as a medieval knight, Tyler as a Tommy Shelby style gangster and Darren as a 40s film noir sleuth. Actor headshots and costume shoots with our many props and accessories are always available at our studio near Manchester Airport, please contact to make a booking.

Mythical ‘Ariadne’ Shoot with female model Helen Diaz

A model of great ability and experience, Helen Diaz visited the studio to shoot a scenario dedicated to ‘Ariadne’ the wife of  ‘Dionysus’. We constructed a special set to evoke the classical mythology and to pay homage to classical and renaissance art. Just for a touch of variety we finished the shoot with some ‘Film Noir’ shots!
