Samuel has worked with us on a number of shoots over the last few years and after returning to Manchester contacted us to book some shoots to update his portfolio.We chose 2 contrasting themes – steam punk followed by all-white semi-formal fashion!!
After our Peaky Blinders style shoot over a year ago, Matthew contacted me again to arrange a portfolio booster for his male model portfolio. We covered a number of creative scenarios from 60s James Dean shots with leather jacket, 60s retro selfies with Milford Sportsman camers, through a cabaret costume with topcoat and stick to a ‘JR’ cowboy theme!
I arranged a shoot with up and coming model and actor Matthew for a ‘Peaky Blinders’ themed shoot complete with retro costume and a specially constructed studio set to experiment with lighting and gels. We also managed to fit a few formalwear shots into the session.
Mervyn got in contact to arrange a shoot to build his portfolio. Our studio session was very productive and we produced some dark and atmospheric character shots with low key lighting and a few of the many props available in the studio.
After our remarkable aeries of images shot last year at Balcombe Viaduct, Beau dropped by the studio to shoot some fashion images, in particularly an idea of mine to create a ‘hommage’ to the iconic Jean Paul Gaultier advert! We covered a wide range of male fashion scenarios to include a white tuxedo, a holiday theme and some male portrait images
Specialist retro fashion model Jobless Mermaid came into the studio to update her model portfolio with some images featuring a Chinese style 60s dress, retro hat and a veil.
JBDI-Photography was contacted by Jobless Mermaid to set up a retro fashion shoot to ado her portfolio. We played around with props and lighting in the studio to create some vintage-sttle fashion portraits.
Newly graduated actress, Sherry contacted JBDI Photography to provide headshots, publicity and model portfolio images as she embarks on her acting career.
JBDI was lucky enough to able to arrange a shoot with widely published and heavily tattooed model Dickie Smith and we came away with some dramatic and atmospheric images.
Recently graduated from the Musical Theatre course at the Arden School of Theatre in Manchester, Edd booked a shoot to build his portfolio of acting headshots and modelling images. We managed to cover a broad range of styles in a relatively short time – including a homage to Steed of the Avengers!
