Paige contacted us on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/jbdi_photos/ to book a model portfolio shoot to add some images to her portfolio and for some photos for her new modelling agent. We met in Manchester’s Northern Quarter and chose a few suitable urban backdrops to capture some street fashion shots. She’s the first model we’ve worked with whose done the splits during a shoot! This was also the first shoot featuring a new addition to our kit, the Fuji XT 3
Darren contacted me to arrange a shoot to add some more dramatic images to his portfolio. We set up a ‘steam punk’ style stage set in the studio and Darren wore some outfits from his extensive leatherwear wardrobe. We ended the shoot with some moody portrait shots.
Experienced male model James arranged a shoot to refresh his already extensive port with some character, costume and contemporary shots. Our shoot encompassed traditional portraiture to punk.
Young, recently graduated actor and male model, Dale Brendan, visited the studio to update his actor headshots and also expand his male modelling portfolio images. We shot some classic headshots and also played around with some more varied fashion styles to give him a wider variety of shots for his portfolio.
Having collaborated several times with JM, we decided to evolve our retro fashion portfolio to pay homage to Puccini’s Madame Butterfly with some geisha shots. We also experimented with an ornamental back head dress with some stylish all black images
Mervyn got in contact to arrange a shoot to build his portfolio. Our studio session was very productive and we produced some dark and atmospheric character shots with low key lighting and a few of the many props available in the studio.
Up and coming actor Louis visited the studio to update his actor headshots and to start a portfolio with a view to getting more bookings as a male model. We manages to cover a wide range of styles and poses in a relatively short space of time.
Actress and model Emma wanted to update her portfolio after a few years away from the industry. We started with some traditional actor headshots and then got some great fashion shots with aid of the studio hair blower!
Professional model Darling visited the studio for a shoot and discovered a costume and props and we created some Edwardian themed Pre-raphelite inspired images!
