After Emil’s last shoot I was eager to work with him again and we recently got the opportunity. For this session we concentrated on moody fashion shots, underwear and portraits. Emil has been honing his physique to compliment his handsome face as well as refining his posing which helped us capture some exceptional images.
Victor has visited the studio for 3 shoots so far and we’ve covered an enormous range of styles. He’s a very talented, adaptable and enthusiastic model. Here are some images we created using the boxing punchbag and work-out bench available in the studio which included some dramatic action boxing and MMA shots as well as a series of fitness images with dumb bells.
Victor is an experienced model and it shows by the way he poses and connects with the camera. Our shoot included dramatic and characterful portraits, physique shots with tyres, art nude images with the ceremonial sword as well as classically inspired poses with the greek pillar and busts.
Leon has become a regular collaborator and for our latest shoot we chose 2 very contrasting ideas – Assassins Creed cosplay homage and classical art nude boudoir. Leon excelled in both genres using his skills as an-up-and- coming actor, with the aid of some of the many props in the studio and the shoot resulted in a set of arresting images.
Kianis is a handsome new male model who was very interested in adding more varied images to his portfolio. Our shoot covered many different genres and we made use of the props and costumes available in the studio, with the intention of providing Kianis with a much enhanced portfolio. We concentrated on moody black and white studies and art nude boudoir images to add some spice to his port.
Almost exactly a year after our first shoot, Robert travelled to our studio for a boxing themed shoot. We set up the studio boxing punchbag to give more authenticity to the images and also shot some American Football themed images as well as skateboarding and mythic-themed shots with the ceremonial sword. As usual the studio props helped us create some striking images.
Actor Phill, who was visiting from London, got in touch to arrange a shoot to take advantage of the many props available in our studio near Manchester Airport. Luckily, I had just added some new classic Greek antique props which we were able to utilise for the first time. Keen to show off his great physique, Phill posed nude for most of the images. This is the first shoot in a series of classic or renaissance inspired collaborations that I planning, in which I’m hoping to feature contemporary models interacting with antique props.
Leon booked a shoot to update his modelling portfolio. We started with some high-contrast edgy black and white portraits, followed by more editorial images, then covered brighter more colourful sports and fashion shots and finished the shoot with a series of sci-fi, leather fantasy shots.
JBDI-phototography was contacted by up-and-coming underwear company Lure Menswear to shoot the Summer 22 campaign. The photoshoot took place in a themed pink house in Lancashire – https://www.instagram.com/themarklandhome
The brief was keep all images bright, casual and relaxed. Thanks to all models and the creative team for a great shoot.
