Euan is an upcoming model and Instagrammer (@euanthum) who got in touch to arrange a studio shoot, which he hadn’t experienced before, his previous experience being outdoor and travel shoots for his Instagram account. We covered black and white portraits with leather jackets using some of the extensive wardrobe of costumes in our studio, formalwear shots, some arty fantasy shots with candelabra and decanter and ended with some spiky steam punk images!
Kes’s second shoot took full advantage of all the props, furniture, costumes and make-up we have to offer. We started off with boudoir style images with the chaise long and chiffon, then experimented with a ‘gold’ theme with glitter and our newly acquired gilt frame and finished off with semi-formal all-white fashion shots.
Paige got in contact after our street shoot earlier in the year to arrange a shoot to give her a set of shots for publicity, social media and modelling. She bought along lot of bright branded outfits and we created loads of bright, fun, energetic images.
Another retro shoot highlighting late 50s/early 60s high-end fashion with ‘Jobless mermaid’ who supplies all her own retro outfits. Fans, fascinators, faux-fur all came together to create some glamour from yesteryear!
Paige contacted us on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/jbdi_photos/ to book a model portfolio shoot to add some images to her portfolio and for some photos for her new modelling agent. We met in Manchester’s Northern Quarter and chose a few suitable urban backdrops to capture some street fashion shots. She’s the first model we’ve worked with whose done the splits during a shoot! This was also the first shoot featuring a new addition to our kit, the Fuji XT 3
As part of a Fuji workshop working with Matthew Maddock, I was able to shoot with Manchester -based Zoe with my new Fuji X 1 Pro and a selection of Fuji lenses. The shoot took place in the Royal Exchange Theatre and in some outdoor locations around Manchester city centre.
