Kianis returned for another shoot but this time to re-create an authentic 30s P G Woodhouse character complete with tails coat top hat monocle and many other props that we have available at our studio. We spent a lot of time perfecting Kianis’s hair and adjusting small costume details to produce a really atmospheric set of images
Leon has become a regular collaborator and for our latest shoot we chose 2 very contrasting ideas – Assassins Creed cosplay homage and classical art nude boudoir. Leon excelled in both genres using his skills as an-up-and- coming actor, with the aid of some of the many props in the studio and the shoot resulted in a set of arresting images.
After Kianis’s first shoot , we very promptly arranged a follow-up session to pursue themes that we did not have time to cover during our initial meeting. The first theme was a ‘
30s working class/peaky blinders costume combination, we then changed to a more outlandish steam punk alt fashion outfit and finished the shoot with some colourful male fusion images.
Actor, Costumier, Fight director and male model Ciaron @ciarondavies booked another shoot to showcase his latest outfits which he uses and hires out in his professional acting career. We shot a diverse selection of images featuring the two outfits Ciaron provided which resulted in some dramatic imagery.
‘The Bard’, Ciaran Davis, is an actor, costumier, armourer and stuntman. Every so often he visits the studio with an authentic historical costume. Our latest shoot was no exception. Ciaran supplied a fully authentic French late 18th century Musketeers costume complete with antique Spanish sword and also a Napoleonic soldier’s costume. I set up a couple of small stage sets comprising of various props to compliment the period of the outfits. Ciaran skilfully employed his acting skills to characterise each scenario.
Ciaron (The Bard) is an actor, costumier and theatrical armourer. Periodically we arrange a shoot to showcase a new costume. For this shoot Cairon brought a Celtic warrior outfit complete with leather jerkin, cloak, leather arm bands and a very stylish long sword. I experimented with various dramatic lighting styles to maximise the visual impact of Ciaron’s amazing costum.e
Euan is an upcoming model and Instagrammer (@euanthum) who got in touch to arrange a studio shoot, which he hadn’t experienced before, his previous experience being outdoor and travel shoots for his Instagram account. We covered black and white portraits with leather jackets using
some of the extensive wardrobe of costumes in our studio, formalwear shots, some arty fantasy shots with candelabra and decanter and ended with some spiky steam punk images!
Actor and model Harley got in touch to update his port with some portraits, headshots and costume shots using the props and outfits we have in our studio. We started with some gritty black and white portraits and then progressed onto a Dickensian/cosplay theme with top hat and tuxedo and ended the shoot with a sports and casual theme.
Ciaron booked another shoot to follow on from our previous ‘Johnny Depp’ and Medieval Knight themes. This time we chose the location of Burrs park in Bury as Sherwood Forest. Ciaron provided a full costume including bow, arrows, long sword, hooded jerkin and breaches and after a short walk beside the river Irwell, we found a wooded bank with many ancient oaks to provide an atmospheric backdrop, giving the resulting images an appropriate mythic feel.
