3 actors/male models visited the studio in the last couple of months and we produced some exciting character and costume shoots – ‘The Bard’ as a medieval knight, Tyler as a Tommy Shelby style gangster and Darren as a 40s film noir sleuth. Actor headshots and costume shoots with our many props and accessories are always available at our studio near Manchester Airport, please contact to make a booking.
Kes’s second shoot took full advantage of all the props, furniture, costumes and make-up we have to offer. We started off with boudoir style images with the chaise long and chiffon, then experimented with a ‘gold’ theme with glitter and our newly acquired gilt frame and finished off with semi-formal all-white fashion shots.
A model of great ability and experience, Helen Diaz visited the studio to shoot a scenario dedicated to ‘Ariadne’ the wife of ‘Dionysus’. We constructed a special set to evoke the classical mythology and to pay homage to classical and renaissance art. Just for a touch of variety we finished the shoot with some ‘Film Noir’ shots!
Marco got in contact wanting to add some character shots to his port. We worked on some 30s style Peaky Blinders and formal wear themes. Marcus got straight into character and we obtained some atmospheric period shots.
Samuel has worked with us on a number of shoots over the last few years and after returning to Manchester contacted us to book some shoots to update his portfolio. We chose 2 contrasting themes – steam punk followed by all-white semi-formal fashion!!
Tom visited the studio to create new costume images and enlarge his portfolio by taking advantage of the amazing variety of costumes and props available in our studio near Manchester Airport. We used a ceremonial sword and the peaky blinders outfit that is available to all models booking shoots with us.
After our Peaky Blinders style shoot over a year ago, Matthew contacted me again to arrange a portfolio booster for his male model portfolio. We covered a number of creative scenarios from 60s James Dean shots with leather jacket, 60s retro selfies with Milford Sportsman camers, through a cabaret costume with topcoat and stick to a ‘JR’ cowboy theme!
Budding actor, James, booked a shoot to enrich his portfolio with some actor headshots and character portraits. We focused on ‘Peaky Blinders’ style retro shots, traditional actor headshots and also experimented with some fitness shots with an American football theme.
Emma, an actress, former model and Daisy’s mother had worked with us previously to provide headshots for her own portfolio and contacted us to arrange a shoot to help Daisy expand her portfolio and give her more images for her Spotlight page.
Budding actor Ross got in touch to arrange a character and costume shoot. After some discussion we settled on the idea of using the props in the studio to improvise a steam punk stage set and compliment it with a combination of way-out costume accessories. Harnessing Ross’s acting skills, some coloured gels, backlighting and stage smoke we achieved a really atmospheric set of images.
