Another retro shoot highlighting late 50s/early 60s high-end fashion with ‘Jobless mermaid’ who supplies all her own retro outfits. Fans, fascinators, faux-fur all came together to create some glamour from yesteryear!
Mark got in contact to expand his portfolio with some new fitness shots with a twist – again using some of the amazing array of the studio’s costume, props and make-up. We provided blood, sweat and tears as well as smoke for him to spice up his port.
Tom visited the studio to create new costume images and enlarge his portfolio by taking advantage of the amazing variety of costumes and props available in our studio near Manchester Airport. We used a ceremonial sword and the peaky blinders outfit that is available to all models booking shoots with us.
Paige contacted us on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/jbdi_photos/ to book a model portfolio shoot to add some images to her portfolio and for some photos for her new modelling agent. We met in Manchester’s Northern Quarter and chose a few suitable urban backdrops to capture some street fashion shots. She’s the first model we’ve worked with whose done the splits during a shoot! This was also the first shoot featuring a new addition to our kit, the Fuji XT 3
Callum who is now represented by Maverick models contacted me to fix up another shoot to add some more fashion and editorial images to his portfolio. Now much more experience, Callum was able to take full advantage of the costumes and props available at the studio to pose for some striking images. I was really impressed how he is much more at ease and able to produce more interesting and creative poses.
After our Peaky Blinders style shoot over a year ago, Matthew contacted me again to arrange a portfolio booster for his male model portfolio. We covered a number of creative scenarios from 60s James Dean shots with leather jacket, 60s retro selfies with Milford Sportsman camers, through a cabaret costume with topcoat and stick to a ‘JR’ cowboy theme!
Darren contacted me to arrange a shoot to add some more dramatic images to his portfolio. We set up a ‘steam punk’ style stage set in the studio and Darren wore some outfits from his extensive leatherwear wardrobe. We ended the shoot with some moody portrait shots.
Emma, an actress, former model and Daisy’s mother had worked with us previously to provide headshots for her own portfolio and contacted us to arrange a shoot to help Daisy expand her portfolio and give her more images for her Spotlight page.
