After arranging a shoot with male model, Leon, he was very keen to try out a boxing theme. Luckily, we have a punchbag, boxing gloves and retro boxing shorts on hand art the studio, so all we needed was Leon to provide the action and drama. We experimented with some atmospheric back lighting, smoke, water spray and stage blood to create some gritty and powerful shots.
Kes’s second shoot took full advantage of all the props, furniture, costumes and make-up we have to offer. We started off with boudoir style images with the chaise long and chiffon, then experimented with a ‘gold’ theme with glitter and our newly acquired gilt frame and finished off with semi-formal all-white fashion shots.
A model of great ability and experience, Helen Diaz visited the studio to shoot a scenario dedicated to ‘Ariadne’ the wife of ‘Dionysus’. We constructed a special set to evoke the classical mythology and to pay homage to classical and renaissance art. Just for a touch of variety we finished the shoot with some ‘Film Noir’ shots!
Model and actor extraordinaire ‘The Bard’ visited the studio for a ‘ Johnny Depp’ themed shoot. he bought his own pirate costume and we combined his acting and characterisation skills with the many props available at the studio to create some inspired theatrical images with a real feel for the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ films
Princess Bee booked a shoot to take advantage of some of the amazing props we have at the studio. We shot some weird and whacky steam punk themed images and rounded the shoot off with a few 70s inspired shots
Jiri arranged a shoot to boost his port – we covered several different looks from formal fashion through retro beachwear to American football to give him some more striking images to enhance his modelling career.
Tom visited the studio to create new costume images and enlarge his portfolio by taking advantage of the amazing variety of costumes and props available in our studio near Manchester Airport. We used a ceremonial sword and the peaky blinders outfit that is available to all models booking shoots with us.
After our Peaky Blinders style shoot over a year ago, Matthew contacted me again to arrange a portfolio booster for his male model portfolio. We covered a number of creative scenarios from 60s James Dean shots with leather jacket, 60s retro selfies with Milford Sportsman camers, through a cabaret costume with topcoat and stick to a ‘JR’ cowboy theme!
Darren contacted me to arrange a shoot to add some more dramatic images to his portfolio. We set up a ‘steam punk’ style stage set in the studio and Darren wore some outfits from his extensive leatherwear wardrobe. We ended the shoot with some moody portrait shots.
Emma, an actress, former model and Daisy’s mother had worked with us previously to provide headshots for her own portfolio and contacted us to arrange a shoot to help Daisy expand her portfolio and give her more images for her Spotlight page.
Male model Callum booked a shoot to broaden his port with some character portraits and costume shots working with many of the props and costumes available in our well-equipped studio.
Experienced male model James arranged a shoot to refresh his already extensive port with some character, costume and contemporary shots. Our shoot encompassed traditional portraiture to punk.
Young, recently graduated actor and male model, Dale Brendan, visited the studio to update his actor headshots and also expand his male modelling portfolio images. We shot some classic headshots and also played around with some more varied fashion styles to give him a wider variety of shots for his portfolio.
